The mind is so powerful. Everything that we think, feel and act upon is created by the mind.  I am fascinated about what the difference is between successful people and unsuccessful people. The mind is a truly complex organ.

- It is responsible for our successes and our failures.
- It is responsible for your health and fitness.
- It is responsible for your happiness and sadness.
- Our thoughts can also lead to disease in our body.

Most of us when we act upon facts we can do so objectively. However when emotions are attached to those same facts then we may act quite irrationally.

We may know the formula for fat loss (the formula being motivation, diet and exercise). We can act upon those facts and actually see results. But what would happen if you are having a bad day. Your emotions are high and you may become flustered and give in and go out for ice cream. And since that ice cream tasted so good but was not filling you may also go for the piece of cake and a beer to make you feel better.  And one beer leads to another.  And the rest of the night is spent in an alcoholic induced bliss.

We had the formula to success but it got derailed by emotions!

When we fail we make up so many excuses for our failure.  Excuses for not being successful  at losing weight can go something like this …
-  I don’t have the time
- I don’t have the equipment
- I have bad genetics
- I am too tired
- Tomorrow is another day

The definition of an excuse is to forgive, remove the blame and justify a fault or misbehaviour!

As a parent would you excuse the bad behaviour of your child? I don’t believe so.

We should not allow ourselves to do it either.

Laser focus is the key to success.

What is your motive for action, what is your internal drive? If you don’t know than I would highly recommend joining the Unstoppable Fatloss 21 Day Challenge and watch your mind become transformed.

How different is tomorrow going to be from today?

To your success and health,

Catherine Osthaus
