I enjoyed your post. If I may, I would like to suggest my farm web site.

Sumas Mountain Farms is the only producer of 100% certified-organic, lifetime grass-fed & finished beef in the Lower Mainland of BC (near

Vancouver, Canada). We also offer chicken, eggs, pepperoni, jerky, salami, sausage, farmer sausage, and more.

Because our beef is 100% grass-fed & finished, the quality of the meat is exceptional, and the flavor is unsurpassed. Plus, it is more

nutrient-dense and packed with healthful Omega-3's than conventional beef, which is healthier for you, your family, and the planet.

Please visit http://www.sumasmountainfarms.ca/ for more information! We have plenty of recipes for you to try.

Thanks.

Comment on Having Mercury Fillings Removed by Nile

I have had a few fillings, but they were not mercury. I know some of my friends have recently gotten theirs changed out. I know it is a concern. When I think about mercury, I keep remember those thermometers that use to be around. If the glad broke, then all the mercury would flow out. However, as I recall from science in high school and college, mercury is far more lethal in liquid and gas form.

By the way, I work as a virtual assistant of The Healthy Moms ( http://www.thehealthymoms.net ), the site is fairly new and I thought I would drop by some mom related sites to spread the word.

HI, You seem to be going to some old fashioned docs and dentists. I have an ortho and a dentist, both remove mercury fillings an no longer use them. Neither are 'holistic' dentists. In BC general mercury is accepted as bad. My dentist recommended to me that I have my silver fillings removed and that was done a few years ago. The procedure for removing the mercury is quite elaborate as it is considered toxic waste.I also have root canals that I am dying to have removed but that will be quite pricey so I'm saving my pennies. MY ortho is fine doing that too.

I suffer from Generalized anxiety disorder, anemia, and yeast problems. I think they go hand in hand. I realized the connection between the yeast and iron when I started taking iron supplements because I started feeling much worse! I have also been told that I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, blah, blah, blah. I think its all nutrient deficiencies. If your gut is screwed up you're screwed up. I have read and hundred books or more on mental health, health, diets, nutrients, on and on. It all come down to the same thing-good digestive health. I have had digestive problems for years, including parasites, and they only get worse with age. I have also been given a ton of antibiotics to get rid of them. I now eat no sugar, stimulants, caffine, avoid msg and food additives, dairy and gluten(unless a special occasion) and half of my problems have diappeared. The rest is yeast.

My doc gave me a pill to take for yeast-Difucan. I haven't got the nerve up to take it cause I know its going to make me sick for a few days. Most doctors know yeast is a problem, if your's doesn't he's a Moron. I have a lot of digestive problems and have watched my sugar intake and sucked back the Acidophilus for years. I realize now that I will get no where unless I also take stuff to kill off the yeast. My naturopath also has given me 10-undeoclenic (sp) acid to take. Have to try that too.

I have found a little help from antidepressants. They made me want to sleep all the time, and I got fat while on them, but felt better after I quit taking them than before I started them. Most people find that-the side effects are a little rough when your on them but if you can stick it out for a year and go off you will probably feel quite a bit better and be able to face all the things you want to do. It is documented that antidepressants will increase brain synaptic connection, although they really don't know why, so they do improve your brain functioning. I know from having GAD how hard it is to do anything and my energy was all used up worrying. Now I can face things a little easier, although its still tough, and I am far from well. I think antidepressants are a good crutch to help you through a rough spot but not a cure.

A couple of books I would like to recommend are "The Carbohydrate Specific Diet" by Elaine Gotchell-the bible of digestive disorders, "The Edge Effect" by Eric Braveman, and "The Ultimate Mind Solution" by Mark Hyman. The last two are essential for anyone suffering from a so called "mental" disorder. They show the connection between vitamin and nutrient deficiencies and emotional/mental problems, and these two books contains great surveys and checklists you can fill out yourself to see what Neurotransmitters you may be low on and recommended supplements. All three books recommend GF/CF diets (no dairy or gluten), and no sugar or stimulants.

I take Inositol (amino acid) at night to help me sleep. The only thing that doesn't make me wig out. Take a very little to start with as can cause diarrehea. Google Inositol as it is very effective in OCD.

Hope this is helpful as I have found your blog and video inspiring. You have convinced me to finally follow through with my yeast cleanup, even though its going to mean a few days in bed. You deserve health and happiness, keep on your journey and follow your gut (sorry for the pun). Blessings, Dixie.

I tried this recipe a few days ago. I was expecting it to be good, but was surprised how delicious it actually was. It exceeded my expectations. My family and I will definitely make it again in the future.

Apparently I read somewhere that you should crush the garlic and also let in stand for about 20 minutes to get its full benefit.

Your recipes sound delicious by the way and I am tempted to try a few of them out!

I think that's a very good idea with the camera. It also gives your daughter something to not only play with, but investigate and learn with and who knows she could become a professional photographer one day!

P.S. I really enjoy your site and you come across as a well informed person making good choices for you and your family. Keep up the good work!
